Please note that Dr. Hamilton is not an in network for any insurance plans at this time. If you are planning to apply for out of network benefits, you will need to submit payment prior to seeking reimbursement.  Dr. Hamilton will be happy to assist you in this process by providing the necessary documentation for reimbursement, but he may need to bill for additional time spent in the process if it involves lengthy telephone calls, written reports, etc. These charges would always be discussed with you before they are incurred.

Cliff S. Hamilton, M.D.

Dr. Hamilton completed his general (adult) psychiatry residency training at Metropolitan Hospital Center located in East Harlem, New York where he also served as chief resident.  Upon completion, Dr. Hamilton entered a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania/Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. 

 

While at CHOP, Dr. Hamilton worked on an initiative to integrate mental health treatment into general pediatrics clinics to address an underserved patient population in West Philadelphia.  He also earned the Education Policy Committee Award for Excellence in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

 

Dr. Hamilton has an interest in working with medically ill children with psychiatric co-morbidities, as well as children with disruptive behavior problems and adolescent eating disorders.  He is currently the lead psychiatrist at the Eating Disorders Program at Atlantic Health.

 

Cliff S. Hamilton, M.D. is dually board certified in both Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and General (Adult) Psychiatry.
